Sometimes it strikes...

Sometimes life seems to strike you really hard...
though it has something or the other worked for you...but then it gets hard to take the fact that we are never given a second chance and time never takes us back....so people generally try to move on but the memories linger , and sometimes these images in our mind tend to hurt and haunt .
I was sitting comfortably on my window seat of this luxurious Volvo ,traveling from Bangalore to Chennai.Half of the journey was complete.Though i was trying my level best to sleep, but could manage only a few, short, breaking ones.Lot of things were going inside my mind.
After constantly moving for about 3 hours, the bus finally stopped and we could hear the conductor saying that we have 20 minutes to rearrange ourselves.I saw my watch and it was 2:30 in the morning.I got out of the bus.A cool breeze was blowing, and probably that was the only sound that i could hear.Everything
else was quite.I looked around the place and saw a big board showing "Reliance".The Dhaba was owned by the Reliance group.
I sometimes wonder that how our mind digs out things that we bury or try to bury under the sands of time. The same "Reliance Dhaba" ,that used to be our favorite hang-out spot in my college days.Place where I shared so many memories with my friends.Though geographically it might not be the same, that was Indore, and this is somewhere between B'lore and Chennai. But it had the same setting ,same feel, everything same. And here i was lost again ,memories after memories, like turning pages of a book.I forgot that i had to grab something to fill my stomach.I forgot my hunger, thirst and about the visa interview that was occupying my mind until now.

"Time over sir, please get back into your seats"...probably this was the only thing that could have brought me back.I ran towards the stall which was selling chips and bisleri bottles, bought a packet of Namkeen and a bottle of water and went straight back into my seat.
I tried my level best to focus on my interview and what all things that i have to document,it was hard ,but ......
